Bina Hukum Lingkungan (BHL) uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. To ensure the quality and authenticity of submitted manuscripts, the journal enforces a strict plagiarism policy.
Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes the use of another person's words, ideas, or data without proper acknowledgment. This includes but is not limited to:
Direct copying of text from other sources without citation.
Paraphrasing content from another work without proper attribution.
Self-plagiarism (reusing substantial parts of one's own published work without proper citation).
Plagiarism Detection Tools
All manuscripts submitted to Bina Hukum Lingkungan are screened for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection software such as plagiarism detection tool used Turnitin, iThenticate, or others.
Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 25% (excluding references, quotations, and legal texts) will be returned to the authors for revision.
Consequences of Plagiarism
Manuscripts found to contain significant plagiarism will be rejected immediately.
Authors may be barred from submitting future manuscripts to the journal in cases of severe violations.
Prevention Measures
Authors are encouraged to check their manuscripts for plagiarism before submission using trusted plagiarism detection tools.
Ethical Responsibility
Authors are required to ensure that their submissions are original and appropriately cite all sources.
Any disputes related to plagiarism will be addressed following the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
